PROSPERA helps micro and small entrepreneurs in the food industry to become high performers. PROSPERA is a Mexican social company incubated at the University of California at Berkeley. PROSPEROUS uses information technologies to integrate value chains and link to MIPyMEs food processing with organizations that help them grow. In June 2010, PROSPERA was recognized with the award for social responsibility given by the Organization of American States and the Young Americas Business Trust. In November 2010, the PROSPERA team present its technology platform for integration of MIPyMEs in the Global Entrepreneurship Competition ICT, in Taipei, Taiwan. It is the only Mexican team selected to participate in this competition. PROSPERA consulting team includes experts developing social enterprises with experience in Africa, Asia and Latin America and businessmen of Mexico and the United States.
