PROSPERA Competition.
PROSPERA Competition is designed to harness the business talents of our network members while providing internship opportunities for college students and community members. Micro-entrepreneurs are connected with college students and industry practitioners to work on product innovation. Competitors are asked to develop or improve an existing product that can be marketed nationally. Participants have the opportunity to expose their projects to regional business leaders and potential buyers of their products. Winners are selected by buyers, marketing and operations experts on the basis of product differentiation, quality, scalability, and market attractiveness. The competition benefits the students as much as the microenterprises they work with. Through these series of events, PROSPERA contributes to the creation of a culture of excellence and provide opportunities for best-practice sharing.
